Display a notification bar to visitors who came from an email or ad campaign
Smart Notification bar can help you target almost all kinds of visitors who visit your website with a parameter in the URL. This makes it possible to display a custom message for visitors who came from an email campaign, an ad campaign, or from a source where you used UTM or other kinds of parameters in your URLs.
To use this functionality you need to select the option to display your notification bar to visitors from a specific source, with a specific URL parameter. By using these settings an additional field becomes available where you can define the parameters you want to target with your notification bar. Basically, if the parameter is represented in the URL when a visitor opens your website, the notification bar will be shown as well.
You can add the full parameters, like utm_source=email, or you can use keywords. Both of these will work fine.
This feature is the most helpful when you want to give a "final push" to your potential customers to purchase some of your products. Let's say you send them an email with an offer, they are interested so they visit your site by clicking on the link in the email. Once they arrived at your website, they'll also see a message at the top of the page with a discount code that they can use for free shipping. That'll be hard to resits.
It works the same way when you want to target visitors from Google ads, Facebook ads, or any other ad campaign. You just need to define the right URL parameters.
And this is just one of many ways Smart Notification Bar can help you to grow your business.
